Missing buttons

closure, resize, etc, on the windows of the programs that open.

If there are no buttons closure, resize, etc., on the programs windows that open try to open a terminal and enter the command: xfwm4

Xubuntu Login Loop (XFCE)

For some strange reason, after a ssh session, my Xubuntu doesn't accept my login in XFCE graphical login screen.
I inserted the password but Xubuntu show again the login icon.

For resolve this problem i did this:
1) Press: ALT-Control-F1 and you get the ASCII login.
Enter Username and password.
2) Type: rm .Xauthority
3) Go back to the graphical login screen by pressing: ALT-Control_F7
Now it's work.

Basic Command

For know the release of UBUNTU installed into the PC use the commands below listed.

cat /etc/issue
or
lsb_release -a
May be helpful to know which kernel version is running on our Ubuntu. This one sees with:
uname -r
