NetStumbler for Windows

NetStumbler is a tool for Windows that allows you to detect Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs) using 802.11b, 802.11a and 802.11g. It has many uses:
Verify that your network is set up the way you intended.
Find locations with poor coverage in your WLAN.
Detect other networks that may be causing interference on your network.
Detect unauthorized "rogue" access points in your workplace.

NetStumber è un tools che permette di analizzare le reti Wireless, le principali funzioni sono:
Verificare se il vostro NetWork è configurato come da voi voluto.
Rileva altre reti che potrebbero causare interferenze sulla rete.
Individuare accessi non autorizzati.
Aiuta a posizionare le antenne direzionali WLAN per i collegamenti a lungo raggio.

IP-Address all the computers that are connected to the Internet have an IP address associated to 32bit.
All the data packets traveling in the network have the IP address of the sender and the IP address of the recipient.
To find out what IP address it is assigned when we connect to the Internet from a DOS window type:
ipconfig /all
Typing ipconfig ? have the list of available commands.

PING
To find out if your network includes a server you can use the ping command
For example you can write ping www.inwind.it

TRACERT
To find the tour that is doing the network to connect with a website from a DOS window type:
tracert webpage
For example, type tracert www.tiscali.it
Of course there are online programs that do the same function shown graphically (map land) the result.

INDIRIZZO-IP tutti i computer che si trovano collegati ad Internet hanno associato un'indirizzo IP di 32bit.
Tutti i pacchetti di dati che viaggiano in rete hanno l'indirizzo IP del mittente e l'indirizzo IP del destinatario.
Per sapere quale indirizzo IP ci viene assegnato quando ci colleghiamo ad Internet da una finestra DOS scrivete:
ipconfig /all
Scrivendo ipconfig ? avrete la lista dei comandi disponibili.

PING
Per sapere se in rete è presente un server potete usare il comando ping sito-da-verificare
Per esempio potete scrivere ping www.inwind.it

TRACERT
Per sapere il giro che sta facendo la rete per connettersi con un sito Internet scrivete da una finestra DOS tracert sito-da-trovare
Per esempio scrivete tracert www.tiscali.it 
Naturalmente esistono in rete programmi che fanno la stessa funzione visualizzando graficamente (mappa terrestre) il risultato.
