- Intelligent
automotive power amplifiers
ST offers a complete family of
the most intelligent automotive power amplifiers due to their reliable
diagnostics array.
You can choose among 2- and 4-channel, 45 and 50 W power amplifiers and
some include features like automatic offset control.
Furthermore, certain power amps are now available with a digital input.
ST’s new power amps are compatible with hybrid / start-stop engines,
working with a battery of just 6 V.
With very high efficiency, ST's class SB and SB-I devices consume less
than a standard class AB device with up to 50% less power dissipation,
making them a valid alternative to class D power amplifiers.
- Evaluate our new
high-efficiency automotive-grade LED driver
The STEVAL-ILL048V1 is a
demonstration board based on the ALED6001 PWM-dimmable, single-channel
LED driver with integrated boost controller.
The kit includes a dedicated PC GUI giving you full control of the LED
driver through the USB port of the STM32F103 microcontroller hosted on
the board.
The ALED6001 is specifically designed to drive up to 16 white LED
strings in series with medium/high current (50 – 1000 mA) up to 60 V
boosted.
Accepted supplies include single, low-voltage rail or car batteries.
LED dimming can be achieved by both PWM modulation and analog current
control. Features such as OVP, OCP, thermal shutdown and LED array
protection are also included.
- New high-side power
switches crank up your car body electronics design
Modern vehicles need more fuel efficiency, safety and dependability.
New VND7050AJ12TR and VND7140AJ12TR
dual high-side switches made with ST’s VIPower™ M0-7 silicon technology
helps you pack this into your next junction box or vehicle lighting
design. Thanks to the robust vertical structure of ST’s power MOSFETs,
lower on-resistance switches can now fit in smaller footprint packages
while sophisticated analog circuitry provides better EMI performance,
greater accuracy protection and diagnostics.
These smart high-side switches exceed the most stringent requirements
for severe cold cranking as required in vehicles with start-stop
functions.
- New SD-card IPAD™ now
complies with UHS-1 SDR104-mode of the SD3.0 standard
ST’s new EMIF06-HSD04F3 – housed in a highly integrated 2.6 mm²
flip-chip package – is a 6-line EMI filter embedding system-level ESD
protection.
Able to protect memory card controllers against ESD surges up to 12 kV
(contact discharge) as per the IEC 61000-4-2 standard, it is designed
for micro-SD card applications using the latest SD3.0 standard
specification with clock frequencies up to 208 MHz.
The EMIF06-HSD04F3 is ideal when the SDIO-controller is far from the
micro-SD connector, as its low line capacitance (4.5 pF typ.)
compensates for the parasitic elements of the long PCB track.
- Unique SLIC protection to comply with ITU-T K20 4 kV
and IEC/UL 60950
ST’s LCP22 is the only
dual-voltage protection for ringing SLICs to comply with ITU-T K20/21
at 4 kV when used with EPCOS PTC part number B59173C1130A151.
The LCP22 pinout helps simplify PCB layout and meets IEC/UL 60950
requirements. Housed in the SO-8W (wide) package, it helps save PCB
space for smaller applications such as compact outdoor systems.
July 2015 Wireless connectivity
modules from
STMicroelectronics
- Cutting costs, time,
and risks with “ready-made” wireless modules
Today wireless connectivity is
based on a variety of technologies in order to satisfy a broad range of
application needs.
ST’s
wireless connectivity portfolio provides complete solutions for Bluetooth®, BT Smart and Wi-Fi as well as custom, sub-GHz RF standards and protocols.
To make wireless connectivity promptly and effectively accessible to
developers, ST’s portfolio includes regulatory-certified wireless
modules. Integrating both hardware and software components, these
high-value “building blocks” can be quickly assembled into final
products, even without specific RF expertise.
- Discover SPWF01Sx plug & play Wi-Fi
modules for IoT applications
SPWF01Sx modules are ideal for integrating Wi-Fi certified 802.11bgn
communication in IoT products. Based on an STM32 MCU and a low-power
Wi-Fi SoC with integrated power amplifier, power management unit and
antenna, ST’s SPWF01Sx modules are CE, IC and FCC certified.
The embedded firmware features a complete TCP/IP stack, secure sockets
(e.g. HTTPS) with TLS/SSL and dynamic web pages with SSI and a REST API
for cloud-based file transfers.
Both client STA and miniAP operating modes are supported.
Modules with 1 MByte of external Flash support over-the-air firmware
updates (FOTA).
- Sub-GHz (868 or 915 MHz) communication made
easy with SPSGRF transceiver modules
The SPSGRF-868 and SPSGRF-915 are ultra-low-power sub-GHz modules based
on ST’s SPIRIT1 RF transceiver, operating respectively in the 868 MHz
SRD and 915 MHz ISM bands.
These modules provide a complete RF platform for wireless connectivity
in a tiny form factor with no burden of specific RF knowledge for the
final product designer.
Being an FCC, IC, and CE certified solution, the SPSGRF series reduces
the time-to-market of end applications. USB dongles (STEVAL-IDS001V4)
and expansion board for STM32 Nucleo (X-NUCLEO-IDS01A4) are both
available for quick evaluation of module features.
- Evaluate ST’s ultra-compact Bluetooth
Classic 3.0 modules
ST’s SPBT2632Cx Bluetooth
modules are based on an ST RF transceiver and STM32F MCU.
They implement leading-edge Bluetooth Classic 3.0 technology in an
integrated and ultra-compact solution.
The modules are designed to achieve maximum performance with a minimum
footprint and are FCC, IC, ETSI, and Telec certified in addition to
being BQE qualified.
ST’s Bluetooth® modules represent the best choice for quick integration
in your final application with a reduced time-to-market.
USB dongles such as the STEVAL-SPBT3ATV3 give easy-to-use solutions for
becoming familiar with ST modules and their AT command set.
