WiFi
X-NUCLEO-IDW01M1 - WiFi expansion board based on SWPF01SA module for STM32 Nucleo

The X-NUCLEO-IDW01M1 is a WiFi evaluation board based on the SPWF01SA module, which expands the STM32 Nucleo boards.
The CE, IC and FCC certified SPWF01SA module has an embedded STM32 MCU, a low-power WiFi b/g/n SoC with integrated power amplifier and power management and an SMD antenna.
The SPWF01SA module is also equipped with 1MByte of external FLASH for firmware update over-the-air (FOTA).
The firmware features a complete software IP stack to open up to 8 TCP/UDP sockets, as well as dynamic web pages with SSI to interact with the module and a REST API (get & post) for conveniently transferring files to/from servers in the cloud.
The module can simultaneously behave as a socket server and socket client.
The firmware supports secure sockets with TLS/SSL encryption, ensuring secure end-to-end communications with the cloud, with or without authentication.
The module operates as a client STA, IBSS, or miniAP (with up to 5 client STAs).
The X-NUCLEO-IDW01M1 interfaces with the MCU on the STM32 Nucleo board via the UART serial port; the user can easily access the stack functions using the AT command. X-NUCLEO-IDW01M1 is compatible with both the ST morpho and Arduino UNO R3 connector layout.

This package contains software and sample applications that allow the user to:
  • configure the SPWF01SA to connect to Access Points
  • configure the SPWF01SA in STA, MiniAP and IBSS modes of operation
  • scan available networks and choose APs to connect to
  • use TCP/UDP connections to open, close and read/write to sockets/server sockets

The X-NUCLEO-IDB05A1 is a Bluetooth Low Energy evaluation board based on the SPBTLE-RF BlueNRG-MS RF module to allow expansion of the STM32 Nucleo boards. The SPBTLE-RF module is FCC (FCC ID: S9NSPBTLERF) and IC certified (IC: 8976C-SPBTLERF).

The X-NUCLEO-IDB05A1 is compatible with the ST Morpho and Arduino UNO R3 connector layout (the user can mount the ST Morpho connectors, if required). The X-NUCLEO-IDB05A1 interfaces with the STM32 microcontroller via the SPI pin, and the user can change the default SPI clock, the SPI chip select and SPI IRQ by changing one resistor on the evaluation board.

X-CUBE-SUBG1 is an expansion software package for STM32Cube.
The software runs on the STM32 and includes drivers that recognize the Sub-1 GHz RF communication for SPIRIT1 modules SPSGRF (SPSGRF-868 or SPSGRF-915). The expansion is built on STM32Cube software technology to ease portability across different STM32 microcontrollers.
The software comes with examples of implementation of P2P and WM-Bus communication protocols, running on a SPIRIT1 module SPSGRF expansion board (X-NUCLEO-IDS01A4 or X-NUCLEO-IDS01A5) when connected to a NUCLEO-F401RE or NUCLEO-L053R8.
WM-Bus communication protocol is available for X-NUCLEO-IDS01A4 only.

The X-NUCLEO-IHM09M1 is a motor control connector expansion board for STM32 Nucleo.
It provides an easy way to evaluate motor control solutions for three-phase motors by adapting the STM32 Nucleo board with an external ST motor control power board, thanks to ST morpho and motor control connector.
The 34-pin motor control connector is compatible with all major ST motor control power boards, requiring an external digital section (MCU) to drive a three-phase motor (FOC).
The DAC connector supports user code development and testing with easy access to the MCU peripherals.
A LED is available for fault condition signaling or status indication.

The STM32 NUCLEO Pack (P-NUCLEO-IHM001) is a motor control kit based on X-NUCLEO-IHM07M1 and NUCLEO-F302R8 boards.
This platform provides a motor control solution for low voltage three-phase DC brushless motor. It is based on L6230 driver (belonging to STSPIN family) and on STM32F302R8 MCU.
The L6230 driver is a DMOS fully integrated device for three-phase brushless PMSM motor, with integrated overcurrent and thermal protection.

The STM32F302R8 is a 32-bit microcontroller based on a high-performance ARM®Cortex® -M4 32-bit RISC core, with floating point unit (FPU), operating at a frequency of up to 72 MHz and embedding an advanced analog peripheral set.

The X-NUCLEO-IHM07M1 board is fully configurable and ready to support different closed loop control, FOC or 6-step, based on sensorless or sensor mode, and it is compatible with three shunts or single shunt for current sense measuring.

The NUCLEO-F302R8 board provides an affordable and flexible way for users to try out new concepts and build prototypes with STM32 MCU.

An external power supply (8 V min; 12 V max) is required to power the kit.
It does not require any separate probe as it integrates the ST-LINK/V2-1 debugger and programmer.

The X-NUCLEO-IHM07M1 is a three-phase brushless DC motor driver expansion board based on the L6230 for NUCLEO-F302R8.
It provides an affordable and easy-to-use solution for driving three-phase brushless DC motor in your STM32 Nucleo project.
The X-NUCLEO-IHM07M1 is compatible with the ST Morpho connector and supports the addition of other boards which can be stacked with onto a single STM32 Nucleo board.
The user can also mount the Arduino UNO R3 connector.

The X-NUCLEO-IHM02A1 is a two axis stepper motor driver expansion board based on the L6470. It provides an affordable and easy-to-use solution for low voltage motor control driving for stepper motors in your STM32 Nucleo project.
The expansion board includes two L6470s, a fully-integrated micro stepping motor driver used to control stepper motors by means of high-end motion control commands received through SPI.

It provides an affordable and easy-to-use solution for various use cases with your STM32 Nucleo board.

The X-NUCLEO-PLC01A1 is an industrial input/output evaluation board which expands the STM32 Nucleo board functionality with a PLC (programmable logic controller) function subset.
It is compatible with the Arduino UNO R3 connector layout and is designed around VNI8200XP (solid state relay) and CLT01-38SQ7 (octal digital termination array).
The X-NUCLEO-PLC01A1 interfaces with the STM32 MCU via the SPI peripheral.
Moreover, it is equipped with a set of diagnostic and activity LEDs to facilitate application debugging.
It can accept other STM32 plug-on expansion boards to further extend the STM32 Nucleo board functionality.
The X-NUCLEO-PLC01A1 allows the rapid evaluation of the ICs on board performing a basic set of PLC operations in conjunction with the X-CUBE-PLC1 software package. X-NUCLEO-PLC01A1 is not intended to evaluate the single devices at their full specifications. VNI8200XP includes advanced protection and fault detection features.
CLT01-38SQ7 provides protection and isolation in industrial operating conditions as well as an 'energy-less' status indication for each of the eight input channels, featuring minimal power consumption; it is designed for situations that are required to pass the IEC61000-4-2 8 kV and 15 kV test standards.
Both the CLT01-38SQ7 and the VNI8200XP are designed to meet the most common industrial requirements (i.e. IEC61000-4-2, IEC61000-4-4, IEC61000-4-5 or IEC61131-2); to eveluate them further, refer to the single-product evaluation boards, available at www.st.com.
